after 3years of trying to get the courage to go to the drs about this i fineally managed last night. :p:

obviously he hadnt come across this situation often before (lmfao! :p:

) and said hed need two weeks to research it :redface:

. so iv got to go back. he said that despite iv been in councilling for almost two years i have to start again and go to a psychatrist. :rolleyes:

..he said he wouldnt prescribe me hormone blockers or put me on the pill til iv finished psych...which is fair enough i guess :frown:

but the bleeding is killing me these days cos i cant block it out anymore...hope its not long.... :redface:

btw- title is cos he was the evil one in the entire surgery n i realllllly dont like him....he scares me :p:

That's not that evil.

He sounds like a good doctor to me; he doesn't know enough about the subject to treat you properly at this stage and doesn't want to jump into any potentially damaging treatment until he's read up on it.

This is a start, there's a long way to go, but you're so much further along than before you made the appointment.

firstly i think well done for goign to the doctors, i know that can't have been easy to do, it's taken me a longlong time to go to the doctors about problems before, and while they haven't been the same sort, they've still been hard to deal with.

as for your doctor being evil, i can totally understand that too!! there are some REALLY scary ones at my sugery!

Maybe because it's full of girly hormones that he's worried might confuse you?

I don't know, I'm not a doctor. I know it's frustrating, but it's probably better to wait until he's read up on it and consulted some people who know more so that he can give you the best advice.

It could have been a lot worse. He could have been in denial and told you it's just a phase. At least it seems like he wants to help.

I agree with Dogtanian. :smile:

Although my friend was on the pill to regulate her period too, the hormone thing might be true.
He's nice for doing research, esp. since in England they are free of charge I think?

if she even knew...! lol i tried telling her but...n now im taking it further shed go mental...n im not exaggerating. she wouldnt let my sister eat for 2months or be in same room as her. n it only ended then cos she moved out!!!!!!!

Maybe if you actually looked male (which you really don't, sorry to say, you even have long hair and everything) after a few years she would think of you as her brother but growing up with you as a girl she'll never really accept it and neither will your mum. (Where's your dad btw? :smile:
