Healthy body healthy mind?

Last term I spent much of my time drinking (lots), eating rubbish and doing very little exercise. I'd lost over 1 stone and my bf was up by about 6%. I took a variet of online and offline IQ tests a week after coming home and averaged 123.

This term I lived a healthier lifestyle and regained some of my physique etc. I also limited my drinking to 3 days a week and made sure I only got drunk on one of these occasions. Doing another (similar) 5 tests, my IQ had shot up to 131- surely statistically significant?

How can various lifestyles affect ones raw intelligence?

Well... I'm not sure about actual IQ tests (I've always been skeptical of them)... but I think that a healthy lifestyle can maximize your brain power. Drinking is definitely a factor in your ability to retain information... and it just isn't that good for you in large amounts. But raw intelligence? Nah, I don't think lifestyle changes that.

It seems it hasn't had an effect on you, you're as stupid as ever.
