Am I insane?

I spend a lot of time daydreaming - well making up little scenarios of things in my head with imaginary people/people I don't know and in situations I've never been in. Sometimes they're negative, like I'll think of a scenario with me getting hurt or someone close to me dying, but sometimes they're positive like me having fun with friends (these are imaginary friends lol).

I think it's taking over my life...'cause today I had a late start for college but woke up at 7am anyway. I stayed in bed for 2 3/4 hours just thinking up scenarios in my head. I always daydream, like I can't switch off. I day dream at night and when I'm walking down the road.

What should I do? :frown:

Daydreaming is very good and healthy. Letting it keep you from reality is not. Have some times in the day where you can daydream... before bed and when exercising are some good times.

Try daydreaming about what to do... just a thought

I don't know much about this sort of thing, but it could be a symptom of another problem like depression maybe? If you're late for college because of it it sounds like you're tying to escape reality because of stress or depression. Talk to someone about it
If you're insane then I am too! I always do that before I go to sleep at night.
