Is moisturisor supposed to make your skin look and feel tight? Ive just bought the simple collection and my skin looks pasty and horrible after using the moisturisor. The Nivia moisturisor feels ok but im allergic to it. Ive tried the E45 and that makes my face feel slightly tight too. Sorry about the spelling, is moisturiser supposed to feel like this?
simple is ment to be quite bad actually if you are looking for a good moisturiser then perhaps look at clinique its ment to be very good, but like the above post said its all about drinking plenty of water and eating fresh fruite and vegtables

Yep, the Clinique moisturiser is fantastic. I definitely recommend it, its worth every penny. Plus, its on offer at Superdrug (along with the rest of the Clinique skincare range, plus some Clarins and other brands) until Sunday

I'm a bloke and i use moisturiser after shaving. Clinque makes me erupt in spots, SIMPLE is worse still, and Molton Brown is fantastic - you pay for quality at the end of the day. I have noticed a difference, a positive one, when it comes to my skin, through the use of moisturiser and particularly from Molton Brown.
No moisturiser is not supposed to make your skin feel tight at all! It's supposed to make it feel soft and smooth. If it's making your skin feel tight stop using it because it does not agree with you. The type of moisturiser you need to use depends on your skin type. I have very dry skin and have to use things like cocoabutter on my skin, regular cream just doesn't work, it lasts for about 15 mins then my skin is dry again. It's just my skin type. Try experimenting with different creams, more expensive creams aren't necessarily better either. If you keep finding the creams make your skin feel tigh, go to the doctor as you are probably allergic, you may be able to get some medicicated moisturising cream. I had to have it when I was pregnant. Hope that helps.
I've been using Nivea for the last year, but my skin's gotten too used to it now so I'll have to switch to a different brand to stop my skin drying out. *raids makeup sections*
last year i used simple moisturiser for a couple of days- woke up one day and couldnt open my eyes, my whole face had swollen up and i couldnt breathe! the doctor put me on steiroids and anti-inflamatories for a couple of weeks. If i were you- i'd steer clear of simple. I dont have especially sensitive skin and apparently lots of other people have had reactions to the product.
it depends on the person, i have incredibly sensitive skin and simple is fine for me. if it was producing that severe a reaction in a lot of people then it wouldn't be on sale still.
hey, are you living anywhere near a "Lush" shop? If so, get some Dream Cream ( http://www.lush.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=28_33&products_id=231 ). That stuff is the bees' knees!! And it's so natural and mmmmm. I put moisturiser on after I cleanse (because that makes it feel tight and dry) and it makes my face all lovely and smooth and soft and nice-smelling seriously, try it.
