I prefer guys with dark hair, don't know why though

I hope they do... my hair's naturally dark brown, and I dye it black blue.

I like all hair colours. My bf has soft goldy-red.... its mostly blonde but has slight copper tints.

In general, if someone made me 'construct a man' I would give him dark hair, probably black. But thats just being an idealist.

With dark haired guys, especially teens, you can see their beard/stubble/body hair more easily, making them look more manly, and more attractive to girls. With blonde guys, it's harder to see, making them look less mature.

Just my little theory there...

I've always liked dark guys (I'm Italian myself)... but right now I'm really liking a blond guy with blue eyes.... yum he's so dreamy and lovely....

I've never liked a blonde guy. I know that sounds incredibly superficial, but it's true. I've always gone for guys with really, really dark hair and eyes, I suppose to counteract my blondeness!

I dyed my hair dark brown because of this! And yes, I have been given LOTS more attention- however, lots of my mates say they prefer blonde, but all my girl friends say they like it like this as it's sexier.

Um, not really. When I did it last summer and came back to school, because it was the beginning of 6th form there were lots new people and they thought it wasn't died because I did it so it looked natural, but obviously the people that had known me to be blonde did notice. I then did it in November and then Christmas (Day in fact) and haven't done it since- though I may next week as it's starting to look quite a bit lighter in different light. But to answer your question, no, I don't purpously tell people I've dyed my hair.

Well, if you 'get off' with a girl because you've got dark hair, won't she notice you're actually not by your stubble/body hair?

Not really, because body hair is naturally dark (well, mine is anyway), so it's fine. And I should say, my hair is not majorly dark, the dye I used at Christmas was called Natural Dark brown I think, but now it's not too dark- if you want to see, there's a pic in my profile.
