Transering University
Just finished my first year at Lincoln university studying history. I am unhappy with the course and thinking of transfering. Is this a good idea or should I just stick it out? 
If you are unhappy then transfer. You have only done one year so starting again inst a problem. Sticking with a course that you don't like would be a big mistake. Just make sure that the course that you do transfer to is one that you will enjoy.

It's been a while since you posted this thread, but could I ask why exactly you weren't happy with the course? I'm looking at history at Lincoln (though it isn't my first choice by a long way) and I have my own reservations about the course. Could you tell me what you didn't like about it?
