How old are you?

Trust me, it gets worse with time....

I'm in my mid-20s and every single decent girl is taken or is in a complicated situation or even worse is in too much of an emotional mess to want a serious relationship.

I know how you feel. Whenever I find a guy I like, it turns out he has a girlfriend! :frown:

Oh dear. It'll get worse... girls start thinking about having more serious relationships once they get to uni or at least that's the final goal of quite a few. Grab a decent girl before they're all gone.
Yeah, I am! I find all guys I like are taken too.. but Im sure I'll be fine when Im the sad single friend being set up with dorky guys by my pitying friends in long term relationships :P
18, Single and fine with it. Well would love to find someone, but I don't think I'm ready, or maybe I'm just picky. Nothing to worry about either way!

Im doing a gap year, so you never know, it just seems the barrel is dry at the moment,
Luckily the non-decent girls such as myself are still single, and doomed to remain so forever if you listen to the opinion of some of the blokes here lol.

All my friends are getting into long relationships, like 2 or 3 years with each other, and i just can;t seem to meet the right person.
Added to this every new girl i meet ill be chattin with for a while, and then into the convo she'll mention her boyf and ill be secretly thinkin 'o crap!' Is it true, has every1 else in the world coupled up?

Yep. I'm in the same position as you. And every new girl I meet also seems to be in a relationship. Out of my close group of friends all but one is in a relationship. Mostly long term too (one is even married).

It really makes you feel down sometimes.

Am I the only one who's single and happy?
I'm single and pretty happy about it tbh! Don't really need any distractions just now as I have my AHs in 2 months - try and be positive about it, it means you have time for yourself and are more able to focus on what you need.
I'm happy to be single rather than with some guy just to fill my time....and the last guy to rock my world doesn't rock it anymore so ho hum single life for me

I've had more than enough time for myself these last couple of years. Probably I'll never be happy though. Always wanting a relationship when single and when ever I get into one I'll want to be single again, going back to having time to myself again...

It does get difficult at times, especially on a day like valentines day.
