those who find it boring, what would you rather of done instead of CS? Still computer related, or something completely different?

Well i wouldn't do anything that wasn't computer related, i would want to do something that was more programming based - maybe software engineering?

Lisp and Prolog were both chucked into one module here (Aspects of AI). I hated Lisp and i dont really like prolog that much either.

At warwick we had like two weeks of prolog in a logic module! Shame cuz I really enjoyed it.

I dropped out of CS because I found it too boring. Still wanted to do something with computers though so now I'm studying AI which is much more interesting IMO.

I'm dropping CS too, I found it really boring. Not my thing! I'm switching to something different too, which'll hopefully be way more fun

What are you switching to? And are you reapplying next year for it?

I'm switching to Social Sciences. And since I'm (hopefully) doing the switch within my university, I don't have to reapply. If all goes well, I'll be starting it in September

Hey, I remember sending you a PM a while back about changing. Glad you've made a decision you're happy with - good luck

I dont know about boring but it requires alot of hard work. I know, they say all degrees are hard but computer science requires long days and sometimes extra reading to your lecture notes for you to understand things. There is alot of coursework and class tests involved and the exams require alot of revision. but in the end, it will be worth it, as past computing graduates have told me, they found a good job with a computer science degree fairly easily
