How about you push him off the nearest bridge instead and do the world a favour? Nobody deserves that sort of treatment. You're your own special person, and the world does recognise that.

Well if I had any weight issues then yes!! Weirdly enough my ex and I had a joke about me being like a beached whale cos I eat tons, but luckily since I'm not really overweight I wasn't offended!

I'd be upset about it yeah. I'd try to brush it off and everything but it would bother me. People always make comments like that cos they think it's obvious it's not true (or so they insist) so I try to take it all with a pinch of salt but I can't help thinking there must be a bit of truth behind it all.

Basically he joked with his mates that she looked like a beached whale.

And I think he can go ***** some sort of small spiky inanimate object for a comment like that - even if she was a size 6 and looked more like a beanpole than a whale it's still not nice.
