MS Finance/Management vs No Masters (PresidentBen and other pro's please chip in) Watch
I graduated from a top 10 economics school in 2011 with a 2.1 and have worked in global markets for a year (not trading, but its a middle/front office type role) outside UK.
I am not eligible to apply to at least to Deutsche Bank because they require you to have graduated within a year of starting. I tried searching this information for other banks but none of them were clear - could someone please let me know what the deal is? I'll be applying for 2013 start so would have been 2 years since I graduated.
Would a Masters in Finance a Imperial help my profile at all? Aside from making me eligible to apply for every graduate scheme out there, would it add any value to my profile?
I also have a MSc Management at UCL offer, but I have a feeling if I did go down the Masters route taking this option might be a career suicide?
I will be applying for middle office CIMA roles/Operations roles at investment banks, Corporate Finance at Big4, Investment Consulting and Asset Management.
