Macaroni bites. These were small balls of macaroni cheese, encased in breadcrumbs. Crunchy on the outside and gooey and cheesy on the inside. A truly orgasmic foody experience which at some point since the year 2000 has been removed from our supermarket freezers. WHYYYYYYY??

I can't remember much about them except they were sold frozen. The box was possibly green?? And they might have been made by a Scottish company. That's all I remember. (Aside from being 15, sitting at the PC munching them at 2am whilst chatting to my friends on MSN).

Does anybody else remember these??? Was I seriously the only person who bought them? I have seen recipes online for making my own but I would love to hunt them down if they are still being produced somewhere.

Note - they looked roughly like this:

Oh god, so amazing. *sniff*

Aww, well if it was then they don't do them anymore. I even emailed Asda to ask if they had ever stocked anything like that, but the said no! Guess I'll have to make my own
