I need some advice desperately!
I was due to start an Access to HE course at the local college in September, do progress to do nursing at university next year.
HOWEVER!
Today I received a letter from the university I studied at before (for only 1 year) saying I had been accepted to re-start from where I left off (which I did in a panic last year but asked them to cancel (which they obviously haven't) ) :/ I now don't know what to do. Here are my pros and cons:

Didn't want to go to college in first place, wanted to jump to uni
Don't want to have to pay 800 pound upfront for college

I love my uni I went to
It's a combined degree and I only like half of it (well liked at the time)
It's an extra year before going to nursing
I'd have to cut down my hours at work (this may be a good or bad thing?)
I'm worried that I'll loose interest for it like I did last time (although I've grown up since then!)
However, it has nothing to do with nursing, although will mean I can get into uni to do nursing when I do get there.

Please please please can someone help me, I don't know what to do for the best and it's come on so suddenly! Thanks for reading my rant

Hannah

Sorry if I have read the post wrong but surely one year of college would be better than another two at uni doing a course that's not relevant to what you actually want to do, and if you was to study the last of your degree at uni would you not be left with just one year of student finance?

I think you get four years student finance in total. You just really need to have a think about what you want to do in life, surely with a levels and access you would stand a chance of getting into a really competitive university too.

Well as I've said just make sure you think very hard before making your decision. Personally, if it was me I would go for the access and study the subject I really want to pursue my career in.

Well it's ultimately your choice to make, best of luck though.
