I done 5 modules and I got 3 passes and 2 condoned credits.

All together I got 75 credits (2 modules were 30 credits and the other one was 15). I was told now I can't get a first in my degree because I got 2 condoned credits. Is this true? I thought first year didn't count (I didn't fail because I was stupid, I slacked because first year doesn't count towards my final grade). Can I still get a first or am I doomed? I do biomedical science at the university of Westminster.
