If you got a D in AS bio, C in one paper and E in the other,
Is it possible to get a grade A or a B overall at A level?

depends how much they're all worth.

but even if it was possible. with grades like those its incredibly unlikely, especially if you're not going to do retakes

What happened to the 3rd unit?

you need 420/600 for a B

If you have the best possible D from Y12 then you have 150 so you need a further 270/300 in Y13

That is an average of 90% in your A2 units

Of course, you may have as little as 91 from Y12, leaving you needing more than 300/300 for a B
