What is the normal age to go through puberty? Is it 10-11, or do most people start at 12 or later? I started at 10, so I'm wondering if this was normal?

Jesus christ! You serious?
i started noticing 'changes' at about 12 13 years of age
i'd say 10 was a bit early. i dont know if its related but i had my first w*nk when i was 14...

wanking has nothing to do with puberty. puberty involves bodily changes like spots, getting more hair, sex organs growing  10 is a bit too early but people start at different ages.

For everyone it's different, I know girls that had their periods at 10. I had some boobs by the time I was 10/11 and believe me everyone noticed. I hated swimming and stuff it was embarassing!
i'm 99% sure that girls GENERALLY start puberty earlier than boys

Yeah, girls start earlier. Generally.

Yeah sex organs growing.. surely then sex is related to puberty? maybe its a was of signalling you're nearing the end of puberty changes.. the ability to crack one off the cuff or get your nuts in..

girls DO start earlier, i started about the age of 10 too, don't worry! i'm all normal now

It can greatly vary, for example, I barely started until I was nearly 16... although it can start as early as 8. Masturbating pre-pubertally is not often due to sex drive, but simply because it feels good - even though I developed at a very late stage, I started masturbating at 7 years old.

The age thing is an average.
There are always people aged higher and lower.
You're fine.

It completely depends on the individual - although girls do usually start puberty earlier than boys. It's often linked to when your parents started; if they were early developers than chances are you will too.
i had acne at the age of 10/11 and had my growth spurt around that time too

I think puberty for me began when I was about 11 athough I didn't get my periods until I was 13, nearly 14.
It's different for everyone so i don't think there is any 'normal' age. I have heard of a condition where a little girl started her periods aged 3.

Acne can be inherited too - I've never had acne and nor did my dad. It is also related to diet. My growth spurt only occured at around 16-17 and is still happening... I thought I'd never grow.

Is that picture in your profile recent, because I'm sorry but you really don't look 18. Yeah, my growth spurt is still happening now. I've grown a few inches over the past year, and I'm 16.

It is recent, and it's true that I don't look 18 at all, although it seems pretty logical since I only started puberty at nearly 16.

Ah, ok - sorry
When you start puberty can vary greatly: someone I know started having periods when they were 9, I didn't until I was 15!
