Where's good and affordable to live in London?

I've just got a job at a company's head office in Camden area for my placement year and am planning on moving to London. I don't know where's good/not good and I don't want to pay a fortune. I don't mind commuting a bit either and I don't want to live with anyone else if I can help it, so probably a studio flat or something. Are there any websites good to look at or is there anywhere anyone recommends? :smile:
