    hi again,
    If measuring the diameter of the Inhibition zone in a disc diffusion test, the shape around the antibiotic disc is not circular and also irregular, how would the diameter be measured???

    Well a better way to do it and to be more accurate would be to get an OHP paper and draw around the area of diffusion, and then use graph paper (preferably mm cubed) and then count the squares to work out the area. If you're going to measure the diameter it's not going to be very accurate... the most accurate way would be to measure the area.
