OK, here's how it goes. I'm 18, and your normal guy. That includes a fair bit of masterbation. 
The thing is, the way I masterbate, including rubbing my dick on my bed as though I was humping it (which, BTW, feels great if you've got the right kind of surface) has meant that when I get an erection, it always seems to point upwards. As in, if straight-out was 0˚, this would be 50˚, maybe a bit more (sorry to get maths-y on you!).
How normal is this? Can I get it back to being horizontal? The thing is, I've got a girlfriend now, and although she's telling me I've got to wait before we have sex (which is fine by me), I'm thinking I want it horizontal so we can do different positions and stuff, and that it might take a while to get it back like that!

but 50 degrees sounds quite sharp... remember though that from your viewpoint it will be very difficult to estimate the angle.

I'm no expert but I think i've heard it's something to do with the muscle growth in your penis, where one muscle is bigger than the other causing it to go upwards or downwards.
Penis shapes/sizes vary so much you just have to live with it!

I'm sure the boys will be able to advise you in depth, but as a girl who has seen more than one, they often (if not always!) point up to some extent, though are usually able to point whichever direction is necessary at the time (keeping in mind it will have something to hold it in the direction) if that makes sense...

It sounds fairly normal to me - they can point in a whole variety of directions and. I'm not sure if it can be corrected by anything you can do, but it shouldn't really limit you.

There was a thread on this a while ago...clearly you didnt read it but some guy posted a link to a site about this. This site said it was some kind of 'wrongness' with a name (cant really call it an illness). Basically the message was...this is not right and it is not good for your body (specifically the pressure on your penis is ridiculous). It's much more common with guys than girls and it seriously limits/(destroys) your enjoyment of straightforward penetrative sex. The advice on the site was to wean yourself off this to something a little more convensional...say a hand...

mine is curved in a clockwise direction with a radius of 20.242 cm and with an inclination 15.24˚. (i can get mathsy too)
