I am just curious whether anybody intends to work part-time during their University Life.

Today, I heard my friend commenting that Universities' students working in Australia are paid an avg of A$10/hr (the highest rate she had seen being A$16/hr). I think that's pretty high compared to Singapore, a pathetic S$5/hr if you are lucky enough.

What about UK? Is the rate that high? As I said, I am just curious... hehe...

That's so little... Just like Singapore =( although UK$1 = S$3 But things are so expensive in UK which made the money seem so insignificant. sigh...

If I remember rightly, A$10 is about the same as £4.50. It's not great but it's not bad.

But if you consider the cost of living between UK and Australia, A$10 can probably buy stuffs in Australia that £4.50 can't buy in UK ehhe..
