Me too! I have the worst flu & a terrible throat infection. :frown:

This is my second day off school this week!
I dread all the catching up i'll have to do tomorrow!

Well, there are the classic remedies, you know, warm chicken soup (actually i just had some!) & also if your throat is killing you, like mine is, you'll find that gurgling warm salt water will make you feel much better...it stimulates blood flow & in turn more white blood cells will get to the area & help destory the virus.

Hope you feel better soon!

Wow I think it's going around! A friend of mine I was talking to yesterday had it too, and a girl I know last week was complaining about it the week before...

Too hot right now for lemsip :s:

That's the problem! Too boiling for a cold, which is why when we get colds in summer it sucks arse the most, you'll be shivering in blankets yet it's 30 degrees outside

Drinking Orange juice is supposedly meant to rid colds and flu. But if you drink too much you may find yourself blowing your nose on the bog  .

Aw hope you get well soon Danni!

Must be awful if you aren't used to colds - I always get them

Ok, my grandma swears by hot orange and honey. I always have that when I get a cold and it does go quicker. If you are too hot to heat the orange just have it warm (in the microwave for a little while.)
You MUST add the honey though as this is the vital ingredient!

Hope you get well soon *hugs*
