Your UCAS number is the 9-digit number beginning with 06.

Hi people. I guess students (such as myself) will be starting to book visiting days about now, so this thread might help them. I also had this issue, but I called up UCAS, and they've confirmed that the 'UCAS number' that I recieved on a university letter ("092******") was only an internal number used for communication between UCAS and the universities. You do NOT use this number. Use your UCAS ID - the number beginning with "1" that you use to sign in to 'Track'.
