Same as a bloke.

Try:

Upper: Bench Press, lat pulldown, bent over row, shoulder press
lower: squats, leg curls, leg extension, calf raises

Do: Upper/Lower/Off/Repeat

Try 2 sets of 8-12 reps, heavy as you can manage to begin with, don't worry if you "fail" at the end of a set.

One question, what do you mean by fail at the end of a set? I'm so useless on this  sorry for being dumb

How do you know its great advice?:p:

Also, try and increase the weight on the bar as often as possible, don't worry if you have to drop the number of reps you do in order to put weight on the bar. Though try not to go below 5 reps as a beginner.

Ah - you don't want to be all muscly do you?
just dont go overboard maybe its male ego thing but women body builders are just hideous.

on the plus side fo that coin, a nicely toned woman with a well defined woman is stunning to look upon

Well, don't worry if u get to say 8 reps and can't possibly lift anymore, as a beginner you'll be ok with that sorta stuff for a while. Just thought I'd mention that now because there'll be people banging on about it later.

Like all those muscley women you see who use weights?

Women just don't have enough testosterone to build significant amounts of muscle.

Considering what you asked for its not.
That will result in you gaining muscles, and not necessarily toning.

I recommend you do some cardio along with some high rep low-medium weights.
If you only have weights, (i.e dumbell) and no access to a gym then i suggest you do a circuit of high reps lowish weight.
Find a weigh you can comfortable rep over 15-20times at least.
Low reps at high weights will cause ur muscles to expand, not tone.

If you have access to a gym then use the pully machines in the same way. Put some running and rowing machines in there but dont exert yourself.
As soon as you get muscle definition - STOP. Its not a good look.

Firm by all means but I don't like to be able to see girls muscles, their bodies should be smooth, not with contours and veins.

You're a complete ****** and people like you really get my goat.

You don't have a fkin clue what you're talkin about, as we established in that other thread.

Don't go misinforming people about stuff you know nothing about.

Girls should seriously stay away from weights. Gyms should make it policy to only allow them to use treadmills, and other cardio equipment only.

Yeah! I've seen them on the tele - strongest women shows - their muscles are more than what I have seen on most men!

Not enough testosterone eh? They have something!

By the way Hayley - I know that you won't want to look like this - I'm just showing that some women do!

Edit: I found another - but she actually looks like a man with a wig:

It seems you have some issues, you dont seem to be able to right a remake without losing all control of what we call debate.

I know quite enough thanks, ive been gym training for about 7years now. I think that makes me qualified enough.
Do you go 3 times a week.
But if your gona spout nothing at all response, without the slightest scientific bases, then claim im wrong cause i refuse to listen to you, fair play i just hope no one else has the stupidity to listen.

The women on TV are the creme of the crop, not many people in the world get to reach their standards of musculature, just like not every man you see at the gym with relatively big muscles isn't a bodybuilder or competing in world strongest man.

Anyway, that women is taking exogeneous testosterone, and probably a variety of other steroids as well, she probably has more testosterone in her system then an 18 year old man.
