Hi there, I'm applying for Uni (Starting in Sept. 2013), and I'm getting a bit worried about these course codes. In 3 universities that I'm applying to, my course is referred to as GGK6, but in another, it's referred to as G450. I don't know if I'm just applying for the wrong course accidentally or if different universities use different codes, but it's definitely stumped me and put my UCAS application on hold.
As I'm applying for a sandwich course, I'm a bit nervous that with the G450 course, I'm accidentally applying for the regular 3 years without a placement, and as it's a big consideration for me, I really don't want to screw it up.
Does anyone know what could be going wrong with this? Any response is appreciated!

The codes vary between unis based on when they set up the course (the rules for coding changed) AND what other codes they've already used....
So if a uni already has G450 as a course and introduces a similar course (maybe with a foundation year) they give it a different code picked almost at random.
In other words - look at the titles, if you want more info check out the university websites for some info on the modules on the course but ignore the codes
