Try Dance, that way you have to stand straight.
I do ballroom and latin american and that's improved my posture loads after hockey and rugby
Walk with your hands held behind your back, that way you have to stand up straight.
When you sit down try not to slouch, sit up straight. Tense your stomach muscles when you're watching tv etc, because the stronger these become the easier it is to sit up straight. Try walking along as though there is a line attached to your head pulling you upwards (sounds stupid) but it will help you stand up tall.
Try yoga or pilates- good for helping you in learning good posture. Also, a few times a day, sit on the floor and cross your legs and sit with your back straight, head aligned ect... when you make it a deliberate practice it can help for it to become intergrated in everyday movements.

Singing lessons help...

There is a great exercise for standing up straight:

1. Strecth your arms out in front of you
2. Stand up on your tip toes
3. Breath in short and sharp through the mouth
4. Lower onto your feet
5. Lower your arms

Is tehre any way to improve posture? Mine is TERRIBLE. My body looks so mis shapen when i stand up, my neck leans forward and so does my head and my back looks like its always bent slightly :s

do NOT underestimate good posture! if you walk right, you look loads thinner and you feel alot better, less aches and pains lol

for me, i'd been told do PILATES (ask at the local gym or google it) and also walk with a book on my head.

my mom says pilates is great for posture, but i find the book thing hard to do. the next best way is go in the gym and walk on a running machine in front a mirror. try to keep shoulders back and head level. do this 30 mins 5x week and it should help
Learn to dance! And it's aerobic excercise.
