umm, get out more? dont have your computer on all day.. if you really want to it shouldnt be that hard.
Haha. Same. Facebook is SO addictive. Erm. Turn your computer off and sit away from it, that helps me. Or tell yourself you can check them after every half an hour for five minutes or something.

Ask to be banned if it's bothering you that much. Then you can't come back.

If I reach 10000 posts I'm jumping off a bridge.
Meh, me too. I haven't done any A Level work for AGES.

Yeah, think of what you could have achieved instead of posting here.

Well it was over 2 years but I agree... I could have built an Eiffel Tower replica out of matches... What a tragedy.

Man, thats negative. You could have done anything you wanted to do - anything. As long as you had the drive and positive attitude.

Yeah whatever. To be honest, I think most of the time would have been spent in front of the TV or on my guitar. I might have gone out a tiny bit more but that's it.

Like, do you have problems or just like staying indoors?

I meant that the time I wouldn't spend on TSR would be spent indoors doing something barely productive anyway. TSR or no TSR, I'd still be home during that time.

When I go out, I just go out. At least that's what I like to kid myself into believing.

It's ruining my life. Any hints on how to cut down/quit?

I'm mainly worried about the fact that with each post, I'm lowering my chances of being able to have kids...I'm spending far too much time on here, and not enough time meeting girls.

It's really bothering me :frown:

This. And Facebook. And MSN.

uninstall msn from your pc
same for facebook
ask a mod to ban you for a month
It doesn't seem to be an entirely dysfunctional or abnormal thing, how could it be if I got hooked? Hope that helps SamtheMan:smile:

Might the problem be that they don't entirely want to do that?

maybe, but if they are "addicted" as they say, and it's "ruining their life" then it is surely an option to consider :s:

It's called being melodramatic for attention.

smash PC.

handcuff to bed, swallow key, keep stuff you need within reach. end of problem.
Tell your parents to not let you go on the computer unless necessary. I do that with my mum, I’d tell her to not let me out, and if I try she nags. So I never go out…purely to avoid her nagging

My mum can be the queen of nagging. She can do it for hours - HOURS!!! :bawling: so if I do go out, I’ll be expecting several long lectures spread across the next few days :frown:

I dare not disobey
