It seems to follow the same formula (for a while) as Underworld's Born Slippy. But if you mean you want bands similar to The Killers, Back Again by Boy Kill Boy would probably be a good place to start if you don't already have it.
no, I don't have any of those! thanks!!

The Boy Kill Boy single that I suggested is something that The Killers could've recorded quite easily, and it would've gone perfectly with the other songs on Hot Fuss.

I suggested Born Slippy because as I said, Mr Brightside's verses follow the same pattern.

not quite sure what you mean about the born slippy thing. do you just mean alternation between two notes a semitone apart?

Try some stuff by the strokes... "Juice-box" and "Last night" are great songs to listen to. Keane - Everybody changes as well...

try going to www.pandora.com . it's a music site which recommends, and lets you listen to, music similar to stuff you already know. so if you typed in 'mr. brightside' it would produce a list of other musically similar songs. it's quite a good way of finding new bands/ stuff you haven't heard of before. hope you like it. x

lend more to kasabian than the killers, but similar.
little ze (formerly trap2).

also they're absolutely tiny, so you'll be able to piss off all your friends talking about music they've never heard of.
download the acoustic version of Mr Brightside...its quite sad....

If that's what the technical term is then fair enough. I just mean the talky bits. And the original poster didn't specify whether they wanted songs with a similar sound, a similar rhythm, similar lyrics or whatever; they just said they wanted similar kinds of songs. So I just threw that in.

Andy you're a star is by far the best killers song.

That's the one song I always skip. :p: My favourite's On Top. I can't believe they didn't release that as a single.

I thought that song by The Feeling was a lot more like Athlete than The Killers. But better than Athlete because I can't stand them, and I rather like Sewn.
