i once kissed a guy three years younger than me (i was nearly 18 at the time, he was 15) i liked him but knew nothing really could happen and i stopped myself for other reasons too. going to uni meant i couldn't really be with him, and also i wouldn't want people to think we were having sex as that would actually be illegal!

I don't think it would have been illegal coz I think I read somewhere that the age of consent only applies to girls.
oh really? that's interesting! still, most people don't know about that and i wouldn't want people thinking i was having sex with an underage boy... who by the way, i'm not sure had entirely finished puberty!

i suppose it depends on tha age difference.. i had a thing for a guy in the year below but he looked older than me. i guess we care too much about what other people think. if you think things can work between you, you shoudl at least give it a go xx
Nah its both ways and a strict liability offence which basically means it doesn't matter whether you intended illegal sex or not; you did it and so you're guilty!
When you get above 17/18 years old I doubt a year or two between ages makes much difference.
Certainly when you get to my age, I don't even notice a year or two in age difference, not even 3 or 4 or more years really.

You see, I hardly seem much wrong there. If you were 20, then yep, there might be something wrong, but a 16 year old might only be two school years below you. It's not that much. (They could also be 4 years below you, but that is another situation....lol)

kissing "schoolboys" can seem nasty if you think about it. but man, they can be so immature sometimes for instance this 15 yr old guy i used to like. but still...he's really fun to talk to, which is what i like about him, although i rarely talk to him now since my IB exam is coming up pretty soon. i even tried giving him love advice before while i fancied him. =)
Oh,might I also add...I'm the oldest in my year group(birthday falls at the beginning of September) so whenever I fancied someone in my year at school at something they were always younger than me....hmmm.

I think the age of consent for boys is 13/14 (something like that). Which is stupid because at that age who are they going to have sex with other than girls under 16 (if even that)
To be fair any kid under 16 shaggin an bird older than him isn't likely to go running to the police about it is he now. He's going to be lovin it.

what would you have done if you liked someone younger than you? does the thought of liking a guy who's much younger than you sound ridiculous?
I liked a guy two years younger than I was but he was particular about the age difference so nothing really happened. we liked each other though...we both knew that.
