Yeah there's a lot of Filipinos here pero wala silang pakielam sa education nila (LOOL I don't know if I said that right, I haven't spoken it in agess). Sixth form sa London, ikaw ? :smile:

Wala pa, prospective student pala ako (Undergrad). Although may conditional offer na ako from Liverpool (Foundation) and Central Lancashire (Game Development), titignan ko pa ang other options ko sa October kapag nagapply ako through UCAS : :smile:

Ilang taon ka na ba? Since nasa Sixth Form ka palang it implies na you're between 16-19? 17 palang ako eh, haha. When are you planning on going after you're done there?

Hindi ba expensive kapag international student ka? Magkano kailangan mo para makapagaral ka dito? o.O Anong course titignan mo sa October? ^^ Oo, 17 din ako haha. Pumupunta pa ako sa open days pero I want to do Chemistry :biggrin:

Yep, expensive. Nahihilo nga ako eh. Tuition ko sa Liverpool is 14,000 ata. Ayaw ko nang isipin kung magkano yun sa pesos, haha.

Oooooooooh. Chemistry ah? I'll be doing Computer Science eh. Actually, college student na ako dito sa Pilipinas kaso naiirita na ang Mommy ko sa kin kaya ipapadala na ako sa England, haha. Sang mga Universities ka na nakapagvisit sa Open Day? Sa April pa ako makakapagvisit eh kasi may classes pa ako dito. Considered as International Student ka pa ba or may British passport ka na ba?

Eh at least 9000 lang, haha. Di naman kami mayaman. Sakto lang siguro.

Computer Science rin ang course ko dito sa Pilipinas, and to be honest hindi ganun karami ang Math. Not sure kung maraming Math ang mga CS programs sa England, though. Pero definitely di ako magaling sa Math.

Yep, I heard maganda sa Southampton. Kaso nga lang limited ako sa mga choices ko kasi sabi ng Mommy ko eh yung mga nasa Manchester/Lancashire/Liverpool area lang. May bahay kasi kami sa Southport, tirahan ko naman daw yun kasi baka inaamag na. Haha.

How long ka na dyan sa London?

Wow. 7 years?! Tagal na nun ah. May british accent ka na siguro, haha! Kailangan ka nga pala papasok sa Uni? This september or next year pa?

I was born in Cavite but brought over to England at a very young age and have been rather corrupted by western society :frown:

I dont speak tagalog but understand it reasonably well... So I can work out what people are say but not really respond...

Everything here is virtually much better, such as the standard of living, but it's fun to occasionally go back there on holiday..

this is kinda true actually haha,

but anyway, there are tons of filipinos that is currently studying here in uk, its just that they dont really focus on forums like this one. but yeah there are tons, in manchester alone, i think there's a about 15? to 20? filipino undergraduates. 20+ college students hahaha
