Telling Someone What You Think

OK, can't believe I'm asking for advice on TSR...but never mind, my friends have been useless...
There is a guy I really like, as in, I can't stop thinking about him even though I don't know him that well. That's the main problem, I've only ever really met him at parties and then spoken to him on myspace, though he did pick me up and take me to his friend's house once. That was a couple of months ago and he was REALLY friendly, so I thought maybe he was interested at that point, but he's been on tour since and now I'm not at all sure. He doesn't seem like the type who gets that fussed about going after girls, if you know what I mean, very into his music and not particularly stunning looking.
I have no clue how to let someone so distant know that I'd be interested, without totally setting myself up to look like an idiot!
It's always difficult, if I ever see him out, he's with a massive group of friends (one of whom I drunkenly got closer than I'd have liked, which doubles the awkwardness) I kinda want to think of a way to see him on his own perhaps?

I think I'm rambling, but any ideas would be greatly welcomed!

Hmm is there any way you can "bump" into him by himself? If you do get to see him alone, make sure you say hi hows it going etcetc so you have a proper conversation, and be very smily! Just make an effort to talk to him properly n hopefully it'll get easier from there, and don't worry you look like an idiot.

Well basically if hes always so distant anyway then who cares if you do make an idiot of yourself!! But to be honest, hes more likely to be flattered even if he doesnt want a relationship!! i say, life is way too short to just sit around and wonder what might happen, you have to make things happen, and if it doesnt go your way then dont worry, theres always another chance somewhere else along the line
