My offer has been changed to b2 .... But I'm not likely to be living on campus nemore nw.....but my friend has a1 floor 5 flat 27 & I will be using his flat more than he expects!! Looool

There are 4 types of rooms you can choose from, so in the application you choose all 4 rooms but starting with the one you like on top to the least. You can apply here http://www1.aston.ac.uk/study/accommodation/apply-online/
I don't think you can choose a roommate, I think all freshers stay together.

but how is the arrangments done... how are the roommates selected on wat bases ..???
boys/girls rooms or mixed .... ????
is there any kind of priorities u get to select on the form ..by the way i have problems with log in ..on that application site..so i have reqsted them to solve it..till them plzz help me in this selection criteria ...

Don't think there is a basis. You can ask for single or mixed sex but you could get either.
