A Normal Guy's Height

i'm 5'7" and find it quite small.......is it too small or oh-kay? mention your height...also, wht opinion does gals have abt this?

5'7" isn't short for a guy.. i wouldn't care how tall my boyfriend was.. as long as he was taller than me, then fine - that isn't hard either.. i'm only 5'0".

The taller the better mate, 5ft 7ins is pretty short yeh, nothing you can do about it though so stop worrying.

I think that's quite short for a male, but you could be a lot smaller!

It's the same as my height and I'm a girl, but I'm taller than most girls I know.

Are most of your mates alot taller than you? I'm only 5' 11", but my mates are well over 6', which makes me feel shorter. 5' 7" isn't that short, I know guys much shorter than that.

I just tried to find some info on average heights of men in the UK.
I found report on the BBC which states that each generation men's heights are increasing about 0.75 of an inch on average and that in two generations time the average man will be just over 6 feet tall.

That would put the average many no around 5'10.5'' (or about the height I am).

Just think howe common it is to find men who are 6'3'' or more. It will probably be equally likely to find men who are 5'7'' or less (like my Dad, who is 5'3'').

i have/had two worries:
1) whther i'd be able to drive cars comfortably...(my greatest passion...)
A) i found that im okay in tht...i tried a land cruiser prado too...even thts made to fit 5'7" ppl...

2) will gals be big for me....reducing my options?
A) i got one good answer ...sayng 5'7" is considered tall among gals...but still....

I'm 6ft2ish and i hate it, I'd much rather be about the 6ft mark, I feel really freaky and gangly :redface:

I just need to put on a shitload of weight it seems

Im 5'9 so find myself taller than alot of guys.... which is annoying.. buut I am taller than most of my friends, and we had a 6th form photo the other day and I was in the top 25 heightwise..

5'7 for a guy is quite small imo, buut you'll still be taller than most girls (average is like 5'3 for girls) and could grow more, and im pretty sure youd be able to drive a car without any problems at all!!

I know a guy who's 5'3" and he gets on fine so I wouldn't worry about being slightly below average too much.

Exactly!! If a guy acts short/small.. that's unattractive.. but often a guy is
5'6-5'9 and you dont notice because he acts tall and isnt "walkoverable". Which is attractive.
Peronality's always a huge factor. So the OP shouldnt worry.

I'm just over 6". Some of my mates are taller than me but it's fine. I'm taller than my Mum and my Dad.
