hi, me too
unless you're applying for geophysics, I don't think you'll need to do much physics reading...
did you take triple science at GCSE?
and the best advice I can give is to check out your school/college library, ask a friend or go to the department for any physics textbooks they have, this is your best shot at being given readable explanations!

I don't know any geology students that can read my physics books so you'll probably be okay... most of them just get high a lot
