10 - 12. Generally 10, but jeans are sometimes a 12 if I want to avoid visible overhanging flab!

I'm a 8.

Size 10 generally; although I have some tops that are a 6, and some trousers that are a 12.

NB, the UK average is 16. Which is in fact, the same size as... Marilyn Monroe.

Of course, a 16 is now seen as 'huge' and in many places, not even stocked. But Marilyn is worth a second look. I say.

Amongst 'the youth' and all that... I'd venture 10 is the average.

Anything that fits a 24 inch waist. Jeans I mean.
Dresses.......I don't know :P

I think it varies for most people from shop to shop, or for the shape of dress you're buying. For most dresses I'm a 6, but if I'm buying a ballgown I'm an 8.

I heard from somewhere that she was a size 12/14 in her time but today that would be a size 8. So...technically she was just big for her time. I'm a dress size 8 and for tops but trousers are another matter.

10 over here

6/8 top 8 bottom

Usually 10 for tops and 12 for jeans/trousers. But 14 for bikini tops and 12 for bottoms, which makes trying to buy sets extremely annoying. :frown:

10 now. Used to be a 14 before I come to Uni. I've lost over a stone

10 trousers

Reply 16

i'm a 10 too.

Reply 17

8 generally.

Reply 18

14-16 but then again I am curvy.

12-16..! Sometimes I have trousers in a 16, generally 14. I can wear tops in a 12 if they have a lot of give in the boob bit, but usually theyre too fitted making them a 14... As for dresses, I don't wear them. But a 14-16 for the same reasons as tops!
