Want to be there, applied, but got my place through clearing and I believe accommodation is first come first served, and I don't think there's many places. I'm studying Software Engineering.

Phoned up Accommodation Services (01202 961671) today to find out what house I'm in.
They won't give out names but they gave the house number.
Anyone else going to be in House No. 20?
They gave out some ages for the others in the house (19, 20, 22, 24, & 26).
I know one of them so far but she's not on this forum as far as I know.
Apparently it's one of the 'quiet' houses.

I know of 2 or 3 people that have rung up and gotten their house numbers but a lot of people are being told that they can't give them out.

however i am a bit worried that the majority of people will be older than me (im 18) lol. hoping this isnt the case.
Im doing Sociology and Social Policy.
Well I'm worried that the majority will be younger
From what I can tell the majority of students this year are A-level students.
I've applied for quiet housing and from what I can tell it's mostly older students who've requested it.

Put my deposit here and got my place confirmed, though I have no idea as to which house I'll be in. I'm studying Multi-media Journalism.

This may sound pathetic, but what days are we allowed to move in? I saw that the arrivals events guide listed the induction day on the 19th of September, but is it possible to move in earlier? It's a bit inconvenient to have the check-in date on the 15th when the moving date is on the 19th.

Welcome I'm moving in on the 16th as that's when most people's tenancy agreement starts (including mine).
Hoping to get there relatively early but I'm at the mercy of my Mum and Grandad as they're bringing me and my stuff up. No idea how long they plan on hanging around for though. Probably find I don't get to start unpacking until late.

The fabric wristband is only really worth going for if you plan on attending pretty much every event taking place that it saves you paying for. Plus the fabric ones are now sold out. I got the silicone once because I only plan on possibly going to one or two of the events.
