BBBB to A*AAa

AQA chemistry module 5 was awful...

So, yeah, it can be done, takes a fair bit of work though. Best of luck.

I have a some friends that have done so Some with a mix of grades from As to Ds and two with all grades D or below. It is doable and requires a strength of sorts, so keep at it.

If you can put in the work to get good A2's, there are medical schools which don't bother looking at your AS results. Plus you can resit. It just depends on what time/work you can put in.

I got Us and Es and managed to get ABC overall. My friends were in similar positions and got all As.

Don't worry too much just FIX UP!

Do resits, and work your socks off. The resits will limit your choices but not entirely. Failing that take my route: graduate entry. Work your socks off at University for a 1st or 2:1 and try that way. But if you can improve now, its better and cheaper!

As results
Hi

I just got my AS results and extremely disappointed
BBCDD - Biology, Chemistry, English, Maths and General Studies.
Really want to do medicine. I was predicted 3As and 1C in my mocks.
Especially English had A in my coursework but obtained a D in my exams.
Slightly shocked. Any chances to do medicine?????

Yes. But if I were you I would go for the access courses though.
The unis go more by your A Level predictions than your AS grades.

BBBB to A*ABa, which sounds pretty good, but I think I needed that other A...

I'll just continue to blame AQA chemistry module 5.

Wow thats amazing, any advice on how to bump up grades vastly in a year? As in how did you pick which to resit, as i know trying them all can backfire...
and what kind of revision techniques and how often? I also hate that chem 5 exam in june!!!

I had BBCC, in chemistry, maths, biology, physics (dropped physics) worked really hard in A2 got 3 A's, was close to an A* in Biology but AQA had to make EMPA's hard this year, but do remember aim for nothing below 100% if you want to do no retakes, otherwise strategically retake 1 exam and aim for high percentages in the rest.

For my AS's I got B(high) C(mid) and C(mid). Is it realistically possible to get AAA overall at the end of year 13?
