Got a lovely letter from my grandfather this morning, starting off with "You're grades were good, I'm not sure they're good enough for Exeter" finishing with "We're not subsidising your university fees" althouth they did with my brother (paying everything) fxcking family favouritism :cry2:

Everyone around me told me that my grades were good, even my strict mother.

I was really pleased with my grades despite the rubbish I had in the lead up to them :cry2:

I am now so much more determined to leave with AAABbb/ab

Seeing as I'm now going to have to take out a loan nonetheless QUB is back as an option

I still can't help it but I keep thinking what went wrong with A level Economics. I followed essay plans which guaranteed an A/A* but apparently it made the grade worse?

I hope that soon, I'll forget about that A level. The content was interesting but the horribly vague exam technique and horrible exams in general are just
I'm glad that at uni, it's different and more Maths based.

Now I can focus on further reading on economics and know that it's not in vain. I'll take more Maths modules - as many as possible - so I could stay away from a level type essays!

My solution:
Apply to Cambridge for ChemEng via. NatSci...

Take some biology modules...

Decide after first year! :woo: :jive:
