Hi,

I got my results, and unfortunately got ABDE

So, I was thinking about carrying on the A (History) and B (Politics) on next year, and taking up two new AS levels along with them. Then, the year after I would carry on those AS levels onto A2, and perhaps taking another AS or two alongside them.

So, while it would take three years I could potentially recieve:

History A2: A
Politics A2: A
Sociology A2: A/B
Law A2: A/B
Psychology AS: A/B
Maths AS: A/B

Would this negatively impact me if I were to apply to a university such as Kings College or another within that kind of boundry for Politics and Philosophy?

Thanks in advance

I think it may affect your university application a little because they may ask you why you spent so long doing your A Levels etc, but if in the extra year you do a lot of volunteering and maybe get a job and some work experience so that you have a convincing excuse, I'm sure it will be fine. As long as you work hard to get those grades.

I agree.
There are plenty of places where you can do volunteering.
You could also carry on with the subject you got the D in and just retake a couple of the modules to get you a better grade. The subject you got the D in isnt completely un-savable.
