Veeeeery brief hijack (Sorry!)

 ... Did you cancel your Warwick app nhdb13?

I reckoned you'd have a very strong chance of getting on Economics there... !!

About me: Heard a lot of good things about Bath (saaay Starsplash, huh?) What appeals to me is the fact that the uni is quite cosmopolitan and the degree structure is v flexible. Oh yeah, almost forgot that it's highly regarded among employers. tbh still considering a gap year though. Please check my public profile for personal details.

Caroline, I hope that you'll pick the right uni so that you'll be eligible to post a reply without hijacking the thread :p:

About me: This course appears to have a lot of flexibility and practical experience - whether I get the grades though is another story!

I thought this thread would come out a little later, when everything will be said & done. And I hoped I'd be the first to start it! :p:
I still didnt receive a decision from all six unis I've applied to but I'm sure I'll in a couple of weeks time. having said that, Bath has been my firm choice even before I sent my application to UCAS so I think its more than safe to assume I'm a Bath freshman this year!
so here it is:
Name: Samiu ... more commonly known as Justin
Subject: MEng Automotive Engineering with sandwich (ohh I like sandwiches  ) year (5 years)
About everything: My course is run by the Mechanical Engineering Department which is one of the best departments of Bath if not the very best! For the first two years, all the courses within the department (eg Automotive,Aerospace,Mechanical, etc) are identical so studying at Bath will give me enough flexibility as an Engineer & yet attempt to satisfy my insatiable appetite for motorsports in the final two years!Lets also not forget about Bath's reputation & its intimate relationship with the employers & industries alike  Looking forward to studying and enjoying at Bath!!!

Hey is this an Economics/Politics firm acceptance thread?
Why is everyone for Eco/Pol? :frown: I'm sure there are other ppl in TSR who'll join this band of Eco/Pol in Bath.
That makes me feel like an intruder here!:p:

Where are the engineering/science fellows?

Ah that makes you unique:biggrin:

I wanna start a band when I go to Bath as well. Do play an instrument or do you sing?

Reply 14

^ i play guitar, mostly rhythm though and i'm pretty good with the acoustic. do you play or sing?
and i think we're hi-jacking the thread

Reply 15

Omg I wanna get into a band as well! My current one is already in pieces.

I play the guitar but will start bass when I get one next month. I also do backing vocals.(and the violin if you want something a bit Arcade fire-ish)

We can form a TSR band at Bath!

Reply 16

that would be pretty cool. definitely need a bassist.

let's rename the thread to 'TSR-politics/economics-students-band-casting' , shall we? :p: :p: :p:

believe me, you wouldn't like me neither singing nor playing an instrument

I know I'm already at Bath, but I wanted to say:

a) This thread takes me back to last year when I started a simialr thread! Time's gone so quick.

b) I want to be in a band too! I've been singing since I was 12 but when I went to Bath I kind of neglected it. I've not done anything singing related all year, and now I really want to get involved again
