Ok so this is my dilemma :

I just finished my A Levels both AS and A2 in the course of 2 years.
I got my results as well recently.

In my AS year we never had Jan exams, so we had to do all the AS exams in May/June.
When I got into A2 the following year we got our certificates for AS.
Then in A2 I decided I wanted to resit some AS exams whilst doing A2.
Now that I've done that, my college said we will get the A LEVEL certificates in Dec.

So my question is will I just get 1 certificate for 1 subject (AS & A2) (I done 3) so that would be 3 certificates right?

Or will I get 2 certificates for 1 subject (AS & A2) (I done 3) so that would be 6 certificates right?

Please help me I know this is confusing, because like I said above I got 1 certificate for each AS subject I done in AS so thats 3 certificates.
Now that i re-sat those AS exams in A2 will i get new AS certifcates or will i just get one combined with the A2 ones.

thank you to whoever understands this and helps me with my question

You won't get new AS certificates - just ones for the full A Level. But that's not a problem, as you'll be applying for jobs and universities with your full A Level grades so it doesn't matter what you got at AS - the AS certificates are basically irrelevant now! So it should just be three certificates, each for the achievement of the full A Level (AS+A2)

what if I decide to resit the A2 exams for one subject?
Then there'll be a new A level certificate, I imagine, to reflect the new grade - I don't know on that one, if I were you I'd ask the exams officer at your school.
