I don't go there but I've stayed there and hold an offer if I meet it. I found it to be very friendly and it's known for that, obviously very pretty, rather normal relative to everyday life. The cellars seem cool.
I looked around Clare and met some students there when I went on an open day. Definitely one of my favourite colleges of the ones I saw, students were extremely friendly and it is stunning there. Academically it is very good too! If I had decided to apply to Cambridge, I would have definitely considered applying there
Does anybody on this forum go to Clare....oh ye, Helenia does. Whats it like?
Clare's great - it's really friendly, first year accommodation is lovely and the bar and ents are fab. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. Anything specific you want to know?

Too bad when applying all that made me forget the "Oh, and it's also the most difficult to get in" part!!!

/me waves frantically... I do too
It's really quite nice, though I wish I could live in the room I had in the first year all the time, it's well located and apart from the buttery is all very good. The second/third year accommodation is up near magd so not too far out either, unlike places like Caius'.
He seems like a nice chap, was first year officer this year, but failed in his campaign to be UCS vice-president. He was up against a third year, so it was always going to be difficult. He did manage to plaster the Colony with amusing campaign flyers though, much more than the other candidates!!
