(Posting from a medicine view point, but same test so can apply here)

Seen a fair few people on my time here on TSR so far.. awful lot of people in the high 700's for average, and highest overall average I saw was around 830.

As for highest subsection score, seen a couple of people with 900 in a section or two. Actually managed to get 900 in QR myself, God knows how though.. lots of luck

900 average is the highest I've heard of. The guy is at Cambridge and got the highest first with 2 weeks worth of revision. Only word I was left with- genius!

How I know about this guy? My brother told me about him. He too is studying medicine at Cambridge

Haha I on the other hand am far off cambrdige standard. I'd be lucky to get into any med uni

Whats the max you can get? Statistically, someone must have got a perfect score at some point.

The max is 900 per subsection, so 3600 overall.

A score of 3600 is unlikely to say the least, but it is possible, yes

If you jsut guessed them all then the chances are pretty low. But if you do know some (like many who take it will) you've got fewer to guess, so the chance of you guessing just a few right are a lot higher than all of them.

I just got 900 in my DA. Had a low average though (790) due to my weak point (obviously VR-670 because English is my second language)
