either do something like human sciences (UCAS Extra), then apply as a graduate to the medicine 4 year course or you could take a gap year.

Human science/biology is about diseases too, so you get a good overview.

In total if you were to do that you would spend a total of 7 years. That is 1 more than a 6year med course.

Don't do the above! A degree is not easy.

If you fail to get a place this year, make sure you get AAA grades and reapply next.
