how to make sure i have been offered a job?

hello all,
i went for an assessment centre on Friday and was told that although I could not get the job at my desired location, I could be taken to my interviewer's one and should be contacted next week for an induction.
However, as it is a big company, I expected to have a text message or email confirming this.

I am scared I won't be called next week and my interviewer may have changed her mind!

Should I call them on Monday to confirm the details I have been told?

If not, should I call back only if I don't get contacted by the middle of next week?

They said they'll contact you next week. It seems a bit redundant for them to contact you just to confirm that they'll contact you, if that makes sense? If you haven't heard from by the end of the week, give them a nudge, I reckon.
