If you knew the concentration of an acid was going to be between 0.05 - 0.15 dm-3 would it be right to think a concentration of the alkali you should use is 0.10dm-3?

thanks.

Depends on whether the acids and bases involved are weak or strong. I would think that having and alkali of similar concentration would be a sensible thought though. Make sure that the volume needed of alkali is less than 50 cm^3, the maximum that a burette can measure.

The acid is strong and the alkali is weak.
So maybe use a alkali concentration of 0.20?

Im a little confused on how to make up the concentrations of the alkali.
