Again, although this thread is outdated I would like to contribute and post. I volunteer amongst education and wellbeing specialists in my local sexual health clinic and looking at them and what they have studied, everything from sociology to health studies to social work, they do various work such as educating through group sessions, year group sessions, 1 to 1 sessions. They also provided clinics for schools, community places and so. I think its important to mention how they did not do a medical degree yet can provide services almost like a nurse. I'm beginning this degree in September 2017 and working alongside education and wellbeing specialists, I am confident that there are jobs out there from this degree whether they help you find it or your degree helps you gain it.

Sexual HEALTH is an area of CLINICAL PRACTICE which needs to be reserved for CLINICIANS

What I'm trying to say is that there is jobs you can get from this degree. And if wanted you can progress to nursing if you wanted to. Just this is dramatic how people say there isn't jobs from this degree. When there is. There always will be a job out there for somebody no matter what degree. And there will be areas of this degree in which people may want a job in. And yes they may need to progress further elsewhere but still. There is jobs.
