As the cleaners only go to the flats once a week, and you'd just be plain unlucky to get a visit from any of the other work-shy Office Staff, I wouldn't worry about it.

lol, you talking from experience. How are these "flats" actual typical flats. or big buildings with receptions that will see everyone coming in. You're meant to fill in a form when someone comes also, would you get away with not doing it?

Thanks

The flats are in blocks, with several flats to a block and several rooms to a flat.

There's only one reception, and that's in the Amenities Building, with the Shop, Bar and Laundry.

Forget the forms.

Here's a plan of BGP to give you some idea of the layout. The bit that says Phase 2 Construction is the newest bit, opening in Sept '06

fair enough

Thanks for your help, also can you have a telephone in your block? i hear the number is like an 0871 number rather than a standard number :s-smilie:

thanks

I believe there are phone points in all the rooms. There certainly were in the older blocks.

I'm sure all BGP numbers were Ntl, 0115 8xxx xxx rather than the usual BT 0115 9xxx xxx. I think the 0871 number is for the payphones in Catered Halls.

Unfortunately, a lot of the new blocks (en suites mainly) don't have telephones for some stupid reason! I live in Mulberries, which is almost 2 years old now, and as of yet... no telephone!!!

All the NTL room phones on campus are 0870 numbers - 0870 012 XXXX where XXXX is the last four digits of the internal number (you dial 5XXXX to call other internal numbers).

They don't give 0115 numbers to students - they're reserved for offices etc.
