I am not sure. Are you looking to apply for the intercollegiate halls?

I would imagine commuting would be greatly time consuming and costly.

I'm commuting too - but it's for the PhD programme so I won't have as many contact hours as the taught courses! I've had a test run and so far it's taken me 1hr30 one way!

Im coming from Archway (north London) and easiest route is to Waterloo and then the train to Egham I guess. I'm going to do the msc social work so bulk of the course would be placement based

I'm coming to RHUL to do a MA, from a little village just outside of London, but my commute is pretty straightforward 'cos I just have to drive through Slough and Windsor and I'm there Will still take me around an hour, I'm reckoning.

It's worth it to be able to save money on renting student accomodation, though. It's silly how much it costs!

Anywhere from 4 to 6 and a bit grand a year. It's absolutely mental, considering the only way I'd be able to pay for it is to get a career development loan- something I do NOT want to have to get.

Well you aren't forced to live in halls. Although unless you get a private rent of 300 and something pm you'd still be looking at 4000 plus for 12 months

I commute from South East London daily to RHUL as I work there, I recently graduated from RHUL (2012) and now work there full time. I wouldn't mind carsharing with others who are also going the same way and willing to perhaps contribute to the fuel costs?

This is a return journey but sometimes I may not leave RHUL till 19:00, but always need to arrive at RHUL by 9am (apart from when I am ill or on holiday).

However, all I ask in return is that you have to be a current student at RHUL just because its my first time doing this and would feel more comfortable if it were a fellow student.

Thanks
