does anyone know when the AS3 letter is posted? i'm an international applicant so i'm not use to all of this.

AS3 Letters (Offer Letters) are posted the day (or sometimes the day after) UCAS are informed of your offer by the university. It'll probably take about 10 days to get to you (at least it takes 10 days to get to Sri Lanka, so I'm guessing its about the same for Malaysia!)

You may not get an offer letter at all for any of your choices (except the last one). I haven't, and I know lots of other people haven't either.

I received my AS3 letters within 7-10 days after receiving my offer on Track. The delay is probably because I live down under in Singapore.

Oh btw, did you opt for e-mail notification? I know I did intially, but it never worked for me. I think if you were notified of offers by e-mail you don't get the letter.

AS3 Letters are sent after receiving any offer, right?

As in, if you receive all 6 offers, you should get 6 AS3 letters (the final one containing the Replying to Offers booklet)

Yeah, their email notification system is broke. If you opted for that, I don't think UCAS will send you an offer letter (since they think they'll be delivering it via email.. which of course doesn't get delivered since the system is bonkers).

That probably explains it... But won't they need the AS3 letters for anything later on?

Nope, doubt it. The AS12 letter is the critical one (which you can use to apply for student finance, student visa, etc).

Is this the letter you get confirming your firm and insurance choices?

Yep. I'm not sure if it also states your insurance choice (I only had a firm choice, so I wouldn't know). But you're probably referring to the correct one.
