They were probably drunk too and they are clearly absolute tw*ts and you shouldn't listen to them.

The other night this girl called me fat in a nightclub toilet.I was honestly so gutted but I just looked at her and thought the same thing back to her(didn't say it but I TOTALLY wish I had slapped her now).....I cried a bit about it too.

TBH,they are just idiots who aren't worth listening to.If you ever get in that situation again and feel threatened you should get help though.

The thing is people should not be throwing the word 'fat' around at people. I know of a girl who was called fat and this triggered anorexia...I'm not saying this happens all the time but seriously,people should not use that word.

Well you obviously arent fat so i wouldnt worry about it. They are probably just jealous of the fact that you would never stoop so low as to be with any of them :smile:

The get your boobs out for the boys stuff is just general banter. You made it personal by retaliating. You have to ignore it, they'll get bored when they see you're just walking away without even noticing them.

Or maybe people shouldn't be so obssessed with visual appearances. Our whole society is based on judging someone's worth to society by how the look and dress.

in my experience guys turn nasty and shout comments such as ugly and fat when they are turned down. its to make them feel better after u tell them to get lost.

They clearly are used to girls who will do as they're told and will get their tiits out on instruction. You refusing just made them want to cover up the fact that they were so blatantly rejected :rolleyes:

I've had this happen to me a few times and I don't even bother turning my head. Just keep on as if they're not there. Sure they can shout abuse but, if you think about it, it's just a bit pathetic that they have nothing better to do than wait around for a good looking girl to shout at.

If it happens again I'd just ignore them, keep on as you are and pretend they're talking to someone else. I used to be shocked at it but now I find it quite funny that the only chance these guys have of getting a girl is shouting at a random one in the street. I wonder why... :rolleyes:

I presume they were a bunch of dumb students trapped in the minds of high school children. I work in a student bar and its depressing the amount of guys who think that this sort of stuff is 'cool', with their mates sniggering along repulsively. Actually some of the girls are just as bad.
I guess we just have to ignore them and hope that they'll somehow get their comeuppance for being foul idiots.

I honestly wouldn't take it personally. I bet they were too drunk to be able to see you, let alone see if your fat or not!

I went out in London last week, and certain people seemed to think it was ok to pull my dress up, ask obscene gestures from me, and just generally perve. :mad:

Then i was walking down the road with my friend to the limo after the night out and 2 men came up behind me and AGAIN tried to put their hands up my dress i obviously went ballistic and my friend, well, she gave them a right mouthful.

So yeah, people can be bang out of line when drunk, just be grateful they didn't try and physically grope you, as they did me. :frown:

the explanation is simple. they were chavs. chavs are the scum of the earth and this is the stereotypical chav behavior that makes them scum. the sad thing is that they are too stupid to realise that hanging round in gangs harrasing people is wrong.

kingspharm: just because ppl are lower class it does not mean they should behave like this. it gives the people who genuinely need your tax money a bad name.

ps is it just me or is it usually chavs on the dole or receiving some kind of government funding who have sky tv and expensive phones?
