Diet Pills

Has anyone taken them? I've just bought some which were half price in Holland and Barratt and have just taken my first one....Argh! I also go to the gym x 3 times a week and swimming twice a week and combine it with a low fat diet....

Anyway, any experiences, I'm sure I'm being paranoid in thinking I'm going to have a heart attack!

Whats the product called, and what are the ingredients?
I'd say stay away from them....if you do want to diet there are better long term ways like regular exercise and a balanced diet.

I read nast nasty things about them once. Not gonna tell you what but i don't think i'd trust anything messing with how my body works.

I refused to go on the pill until my doc said i really should as i had some sort of bladder infection. All that kinda stuff scares me. What if it goes wrong and makes you fatter... Argh

Arrrgh! Omg, I wasn't even fat in the first place I just wanted it to be half a stone loss quicker in my quest for 9 stone! Ok, anyway they are...

'Fat Metaboliser' and in them;
Vit B6
Calcium
Cayenne Pepper
Chromium
Green Tea
L-Carnitine Tartrate
Kola Nut
UvaUrsi

I thought they'd be ok because they were natural. Maaaybe not!

..thats an awful fat burner, it doesn't even contain caffeine, basically just green tea extract, you'd be better of buying green tea bags from tesco and using them.

Oh Phew, I'd rather that than you say I was going to die or something, I was quite weird worried even!.

What do green tea bags actually do? What do the above acutally do...!?
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~adg/images/minerals/e/chromium.jpg this is chromium. Yummy yummy. I've never understood how peices of metal speed things up in there but you know.

What do they do? In a nutshell, absolutely nothing, theres some poor research and poor anecdotal evidence that chromium reduces insulin sensitivty(the study was done in insulin resistant obese rats, however, so make up your mind as to how relevant that is to human metabolism).

Only proven ingredient there is green tea extract. Its a mild thermogenic ie. slightly improves metabolic rate.
Pff they also tested that stuff that nearly killed that guy a couple of weeks ago on rats.

Aren't we implying the same thing...FireDeuce?
Yes...I wasn't arguing with you..just backing it up.

Vitamin B6 works in metabolism too...

But the main one is green tea...

are these things proven to work?
they are not a good idea. the natural way of exercising and lowering calorie intake is always best

Green tea only.

If you want a good fat burner, green tea extract with caffeine, thats all you need.

You can buy bulk caffeine caps and green tea extract caps online for very cheap, £5 for 200 x 200mg caffeine, £10 for 60x500mg green tea extract.
i used to take diet pills! i tried heaps of different types, but none worked at all. They say take three a day, I took millions over a very short time and I am still alive so they must be ineffective. They are useless, don't become dependent on them - I am convinced that when you stop your metabolism is even slower than before.
I tried a few different makes but they were all as bad as the last one.
But post to let us know what you think, maybe i was using the wrong type!
Pretty sure you won't die. If you eat like fifty of them would you just become really skinny if overdoses didn't exist and such...
